How much tea is enough?
Greetings, Tea students.
As you sit there with your hot cup of loose leaf tea, welcoming the first hints of Fall, perhaps you think to yourself, “Master Amanzi has taught me so much. I know how healthy tea is, where it comes from, how to make it—but how much should I drink?”
This is a good question, young Tea Seeker, and I am glad you have asked it. Your tea knowledge has grown, and I am suitably impressed.
Tea is extremely healthy — especially green tea and white tea. You know this. But in order for it to work best, studies show that you should have a minimum of four cups per day to receive the full health benefits. The water in tea keeps you hydrated, the antioxidants work on many levels to fight so many things, and the bit of caffeine will help keep your head clear and focused on whatever it is you are doing.
So continue to brew your organic loose tea, and drink it right up. Your body will be glad. And of course, if you are still thirsty after four cups, have more. There’s no such thing as too much tea.
