Move Down! Clean Cup! It’s Time for a Tea Party!
Hi Loves,
You know what time it is? It’s time for a tea party!
Every year about this time, I realize that I haven’t seen some of my friends in weeks and weeks. Why? Because the beginning of Fall seems to be one of the busiest times of the year! It’s like we all forgot how to work and be productive after a summer of sipping iced tea and it’s all catching up with us. So I like to plan an fun tea party for me and my friends so we can catch up on who’s dating who, who’s NOT dating who, and what’s on the romantic horizon. Oh, and we’ll probably talk about work, too, but only after we’ve covered the more important stuff.
So, this year, I’m really going to make it special.
Usually, my girlfriends and I get together at my house for sumptuous beverages and snacks. Last year we had a Chinese theme and drank Green Teas like Gunpowder Green Tea and Jasmine Pearl Green Tea. My friend Suzie made delicious rice cakes, and Jennifer rolled her own spring rolls. We were all very impressed, and very full.
This year I want to do something special. I’m thinking of a English Garden theme with watercress and cucumber sandwiches, delicate lemon cakes, and, of course, exquisite teas. But what should I serve?
White Teas came to mind first, with their subtle, sweet flavor. What could be better at an English Garden tea party than Rose Garden White Tea? It’s such a pretty blend I may leave the loose tea leaves out for everyone to enjoy. Of course, there’s also Delicate Pear White Tea or Strawberry Buds White Tea. Don’t they just sound mouth-watering?
I may also serve Herbal Tisane Teas. Classic Chamomile is always a hit. And isn’t this Hibiscus Herbal Tea just beautiful? Decisions, decisions!
I’m really looking forward to giving my friends an impromptu lesson on how to use a tea infuser. Nothing spoils a great cup of tea than leaves in your teeth!
OX and Tea,
Tia
