of Love and Green Tea

Greetings online Tea Lovers;

Teato has put down his steaming cup of Yerba Mate tea quite suddenly (and spilled a little on his extemely expensive shirt an ex-girlfriend gave him) to tell you about a wonderful new idea that he has only recently heard about.

A company in San Diego is selling green tea bracelets. They call them “Zenlets,” saying that they “are made out of green tea, which absorbs into your skin and body for health benefits…The bracelets should be worn for eight to twelve days before the green tea is completely absorbed.”

Now if you know Teato, you see my angle. I love green tea, but I love the ladies almost as much. And I am always looking for ways to combine the two. So now I have something to give a beautiful woman to let her know how much she means to me, while never letting her forget that tea is my first true love.

For those of you who are interested in the actual health benefits of this bracelet, I will go on:

Researchers don’t really believe this company’s promotional claims, saying that the human body absorbs catechins and theanine, which is what makes green tea so healthy, in a much more complicated way, and that skin absorption couldn’t possibly have the same effect.

The CEO of the company doesn’t suggest that the bracelets should replace drinking tea: “The best way to get the health benefits from green tea is still to drink green tea, but our Zenlet Green Tea Bracelets are fun, attractive to wear, and provide a continuous dose of green tea.”

So whether you get a bracelet for you or for the lady, continue drinking green tea to get those wonderful health benefits. That’s not so hard to do, is it, my friends? Green tea is delicious!
