Happy New Year, Tea Seekers.
I am sure I am not the first person to say that to you, though perhaps I am the first to not be drunkenly shouting it at your face. (If your night was as hard as I imagine it, perhaps you should read about how tea helps with a hangover). But I say it nonetheless.
I am not young. You have no doubt realized this by my extreme tea knowledge and wisdom (if not by incredibly wrinkled face and beard that stretches almost to my knees these days). So I cannot say that it delights me to see that another year has passed. But the future does indeed look bright, and I look forward to sharing it with you.

Hey Tea blog readers!
Just got back from an extended holiday with the folks. and it’s glad to be drinking a big cuppa English Breakfast Tea from my favorite mug, with my itty bitty kitty cat lying on my feet, purring. warm and comfy and done with the stress of holiday shopping pressures. I’m sure you know what I mean!
The ‘rents made fun when they saw that I had an entire bag full of Amanzi Teas, but as I explained, I need different kinds of tea for different things, and no one can predict the future! Best to be prepared! And sure enough, I used every type of tea I brought!

(You put your tea in there.)
Well, I’d say you’ve done it now. This morning with my morning tea, (I’m sure you don’t have to wonder what kind of tea it as at this point…and if you do, well shame shame!), I notice that you’ve gone and elected (the word is such a strange one to me!) yourself a new President. Good for you.
i also noticed that it’s the one people were calling “elitist” because he drank a fancy tea. Which if faithful readers of this tea blog will know, I protested this label vigorously. Or at least as vigorously as I protest anything without starting a war. So I’m glad you decided not to discount the man based on his eating and drinking preferences.

What’s up you guys! Jasmine here to talk to you about something very important. It’s not about tea. Well, it is, but it’s not just about that. it is about tea, and it is about tea parties. But most of all, it’s about breast cancer.
See, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. And one of the types of fundraisers people are having that I’ve been reading about are Pink Tea Parties. So I want to encourage you guys to throw a Pink Tea Party for Breast Cancer!

Greetings Students of the Way of the Tea.
Forgive me if I am slower today as I impart wisdom unto you. The path to the Perfect Pot sometimes winds in directions one does not expect.
Last night, we graduated a new class of Tea Masters. And after the big Tea Ceremony, there was a bit of celebration. And as a result, this morning, old Master Amanzi isn’t feeling that “tea makes you feel young forever” feeling I’ve taught you so much about. Not to worry however, for I shall incorporate it into today’s lesson. How tea can help with a hangover.

Hi Loves,
So, if you haven’t been keeping up, I went on a great date last weekend. (He loves tea, too!) But he was very slow in calling me back. Of course that sent my mind racing. What is he thinking? Is he going to call ever? Did he have a good time, too?
But I’m happy to say he called!!! (Finally, the dork.) Of course, I was all cool on the phone with him. It went something like this:
“Oh hi, Mr. Tea.”
“Hi Tia. How are you?”
“Oh great. Busy, busy, busy! I’ve hardly had time to think since this weekend!”
“I hope I’m not bothering you.”
“Not at all, just sitting down with a nice cup of Lemon and Roses Rooibos Tea.”
“Sounds good,” he said…
(And I promise, it got much more interesting after that.)

Greetings tea students. I know we have talked about the health benefits of tea (especially green tea) quite a bit, but we speak about it at such length because it seems every day new health benefits are being discovered.
And today, as the fall weather starts to set in, and the temperature starts to change, it is possible that you might find yourself sniffling a bit. The weather changes affect many peoples’ bodies. So it is an excellent time for me to inform you that tea can help your allergies.

Hello my tea pets. How are you feeling? A little under the weather, you say? Worry no more–Teato is here to tell you about yet another health benefit of tea. I am taking a break from writing poetry to my new love, and sitting down with a hot cup of herbal tea as you should be, too.
There’s a lot of chatter about all the healthy foods out there, and unhealthy foods too, and what you should and shouldn’t eat. Teato’s head spins sometimes with all the conflicting information. But I have learned that after a romantic night of dining on oysters and chocolate, I often need a warm cup of Rooibos tea to calm my tummy.

Greetings peasants. I have returned from a challenging day of settling land disputes among my subjects, and find that I cannot relax. It occurs to me that you might have issues with stress in your more ordinary lives. So I thought I would share with you a bit about the calming effects of tea.
I have mentioned to you before how tea is good for you—the list of the health benefits of tea seem longer than your silly “bill of rights” at this point—but let me be more specific.

Part 5: Rooibos Tea
As you may know, on your path to Tea Enlightenment, I, Master Amanzi have offered you many tea tips. Most recently, I have been explaining about the different kinds of tea. I have told you about the four types of tea: white tea, green tea, oolong tea, and black tea. Since these are actually made from tea leaves, technically, these are the only kinds of tea. But there are other tea-like beverages that are called tea. Since the Way of Tea is open to all, I will explain a bit about them as well. Today we shall talk about rooibos tea.
As I have said, rooibos tea, also called “red tea” or “redbush tea,” isn’t actually tea at all. Rooibos, (pronounced “roy-boss”), is Afrikaans for “red bush;” it’s made from the leaves of a legume bush that grows in South Africa. It is prepared just like tea and is thus considered a member of the tea family, but since it is not from Camellia Sinensis leaves, it could at best be considered a distant cousin.
